Day-wise Itinerary
DAY 1 – 15TH JULY 2026 | BHUBANESWAR (ARRIVAL) - PURI
Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station, proceed to Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then visit the nearby Chandrabhaga Beach. Continue your journey to Puri and check in to your hotel. Later, in the evening, enjoy a stroll along Puri Sea Beach. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay and prepare for the next day Rath Yatra.
DAY 02 – 16TH JULY 2026 | GRAND RATH YATRA EXPERIENCE
Experience the divine spectacle of the Jagannath Rath Yatra with a seamless, early-morning start. To avoid the intense crowds, we recommend our exclusive observation deck (optional; ₹3,000 per person, subject to availability), providing a safe, elevated vantage point to witness the chariot procession and the sacred Chhera Pahanra ritual. In the evening, you will proceed by foot for a spiritual Gundicha Temple darshan, as vehicles are restricted during the festival. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay after this unforgettable encounter with the Lord of the Universe.
DAY 03 – 17TH JULY 2026 | TEMPLE & CULTURAL EXPLORATION
After breakfast, you will proceed on foot or available mode of transport to the parking point and then proceed for a full-day Tour starting with a visit to Chilika Lake at Satpada – Asia’s second-largest brackish water lagoon. (Optional: boat ride to spot Irrawaddy dolphins.). Next, visit Alarnath Temple and Sakhigopal Temple. Take blessings from the lord and return to your hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 04 – 18 JULY 2026 | OPTIONAL EXCURSION & DEPARTURE
Post breakfast, move towards Bhubaneswar, and visit the peaceful Dhauli Peace Pagoda, a symbol of peace and historical transformation, followed by a visit to the the sacred Lingaraj Temple, Annant Vasudev Temple, Kedargauri Temple, Rajarani Temple, Bhaskareswar Temple, Khandagiri and Udayagiri Caves. Later, you will proceed to Bhubaneswar Railway Station or Airport for your departure, carrying with you unforgettable memories of a divine and enriching experience at the Jagannath Rath Yatra.
