Ready to trade city skylines for snow-capped peaks? This 6-day backpacking adventure is a deep dive into the heart of the Himalayas. We start with the pine-scented trails of Manali, crossing the world-famous Atal Tunnel into the golden landscapes of Sissu. From there, we transition into the bohemian “Mini Israel” of Kasol and finish with a quiet trek to Tosh—a fairytale village where time seems to stand still. This trip is built for those who want a mix of high-energy adventure, riverside bonfires, and the peaceful vibes of remote mountain villages.

Gather at the meeting point in Delhi (Majnu Ka Tilla) by 6:00 PM. Meet your fellow travelers and board the comfortable AC Volvo bus. We begin our overnight climb into the mountains, making a short stop for a late dinner along the way.
Arrive in Manali by 8:00 AM and check into your hotel. After a short rest, we trek to the beautiful Jogini Waterfall. Later, explore the vibes of Old Manali’s cafes and the historic Hadimba Devi Temple before a cozy group dinner.
We head toward the high-altitude wonders today. Cross the Atal Tunnel to enter the cold desert of Lahaul Valley. Visit the turquoise Sissu Lake and enjoy snow activities in Solang Valley on your way back. It’s a day of endless photo stops.
After breakfast, we drive toward Kasol. On the way, stop in Kullu for optional white-water rafting or paragliding. Reach Kasol by evening, check into your riverside camp, and enjoy a bonfire night with music under a blanket of stars.
Visit the holy Manikaran Gurudwara and take a dip in the natural hot springs. Later, we drive to Barshaini and begin a short, beautiful trek to Tosh. Wander through the village’s narrow paths and enjoy dinner at a local rooftop cafe.
Wake up to a stunning sunrise over the Parvati Valley. Spend your morning hopping between the famous cafes of Tosh. By 3:00 PM, we descend back to Barshaini and board our overnight bus to Delhi, carrying a bag full of memories.
Not at all. The trek from Barshaini to Tosh is about 4-5 km and is considered easy to moderate. Most people with basic fitness can complete it in about 1-2 hours while enjoying the views.
March to June is perfect for pleasant weather and greenery. For those who love snow, December to February is magical, though some roads like the one to Tosh might be harder to reach.
Jio and Airtel work reasonably well in Tosh, but the signal can be spotty inside the cafes or during bad weather. It is a good idea to inform your family beforehand.
Rohtang Pass is not part of the standard itinerary due to permit restrictions. However, we cover Solang Valley and Sissu (via Atal Tunnel), which provide a very similar and stunning snow experience.
